I began as a substitute teacher at the San Juan Unified School District in 2006.
I am a graduate of the California State University – Sonoma and have a Bachelor’s Degree.
I possess a Vocational Teaching Credential issued by the State of California Commission on Teacher Credentialing.
Upon graduation from college, I entered the private sector and started in the high technology industry in Silicon Valley. When the high tech industry had a major downturn at the beginning of the 21st century, I decided to go into teaching.
I enjoy teaching adult learners and especially the Microsoft Operating Systems and Office Applications.
With the pervasive nature of the Internet, Web, social networking, and cloud computing, we are forever connected seamlessly and with the constant changes in technology, we find ourselves having to continue learning. This challenge motivates me to want to share my experiences with adult students in a dynamic learning environment.
I invite you to enroll in the Placer School for Adults course offerings and look forward to meeting you in a class.
